Welcome to ScootWorld. These terms of service apply to all purchases in our online shop. Please read them before you buy from us.
Payment
You can pay with the payment methods available in your country, which are shown at checkout, for example cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Shop Pay and Klarna. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna's terms apply; you see them before you approve the payment.
Your account is only charged when we ship your order. All prices are in the currency shown in the shop, including VAT.
Reservation of the amount
If you pay by card, the amount is reserved immediately. The money stays reserved on your card or account until we charge it when we ship your order, or until the reservation is released as agreed with your card issuer. Your card issuer can tell you more about the rules for your card.
Delivery
If you order before the daily cut-off on a working day, we dispatch your order the same day from our warehouse in Denmark. Orders placed after the cut-off, at weekends or on public holidays are dispatched the next working day. During Black Week and in the run-up to Christmas, delivery can take a little longer than normal.
We deliver to the countries you can select at checkout. The shipping price and delivery time for your country are shown at checkout before you pay.
Legal guarantee
All items bought from us are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of at least 2 years under EU consumer law. This means you can complain about defects in materials, software or manufacturing.
If your complaint is justified, you can, depending on the situation, have the item repaired or replaced, get your money back or get a price reduction.
You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. A complaint made within 2 months of discovering the defect is always in time.
If your complaint is justified, we pay your reasonable shipping costs. Send the item in suitable packaging and keep the shipping receipt so that we can refund your shipping costs.
The legal guarantee does not cover defects, damage or wear caused by incorrect use, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear.

If you buy as a business, we reserve the right to remedy the defect, for example by repairing the item, rather than replace it.
Right of withdrawal and 365-day returns
You always have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law. In addition, you can return unused items within 365 days in their original, undamaged packaging with all accessories and tags. Both periods run from the day you receive your order. The 365-day return period is a voluntary offer and does not limit your statutory rights.

If you withdraw from your purchase, we refund all payments, including standard delivery, no later than 14 days after we have received your notice. You may examine the item as you would in a physical shop; if you handle it more than that, you are liable for any diminished value.

Complaints
If you want to complain about your purchase, write to us at info@scootworld.dk. If we cannot find a solution together, you can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board, Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark, via naevneneshus.dk. A value limit applies, and there is a fee for having a complaint handled; you can find the current rules at naevneneshus.dk.
If you live in an EU country other than Denmark, you can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in your own country (ECC-Net).

Text messages from ScootWorld
If you sign up for text messages from us, you consent to receiving offers, news and messages about your orders by text message. How often we write varies. You can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in our messages or by writing to info@scootworld.dk. We cannot guarantee that every text message is delivered.
